Golden roundtrip up Pilatus

On occasion of the UBS Center Advisory Board Meeting on 23 and 24 June 2019 a “Golden round trip” up Mount Pilatus was organised. Some of the world’s most brilliant economists such as Nobel laureates Esther Duflo and Oliver Hart or David Autor, “the voice of the American worker”, glided up to Pilatus Kulm on the Panorama gondolas and on the aerial cableway DragonRide. They then hiked with their local guide up Matthorn were the international researchers enjoyed an outstanding view over the clouds. To round this spectacular outing off they boarded the steepest cogwheel railway in the world down to Alpnachstad.
